Bill Roper moves on from being the Executive Producer on Champions Online to other projects within Cryptic. He is replaced by long-term Cryptic man Shannon Posniewski, also known as Poz.
It’s an interesting move and one I take as a strong indicator that Cryptic either 1) has another MMO in development that they want an experienced person to oversee, or 2) they are reverse promoting Roper to a point where he’s out of the way. If it were the latter I’d suspect Cryptic would just fire him though, meaning that another Cryptic MMO is on the way.
I’d feel better about that if I thought Champions Online and Star Trek Online were in better shape.
